PURPOSE

The purposes of this association are (1) to improve the status of all retired teachers; (2) to help retired teachers maintain identity with the teaching profession through volunteer services; (3) to encourage active educators to prepare for retirement; and (4) to cooperate with the IRTA, ISTA, and the NRTA, a division of AARP, in promoting the welfare of retired teachers in Indiana.
